Glamorgan Spring Bay Council is looking for an experienced and people-focused Health, Safety & Wellbeing Officer to help us continue building a positive, practical and proactive approach to workplace safety and wellbeing.
This is a broad, hands-on role working across Council with outdoor crews, office-based employees, managers and senior leaders. You’ll provide practical advice and support across WHS, risk and incident management, workers compensation, injury management, return to work and employee wellbeing.
We’re looking for someone with strong WHS expertise who is also great with people – someone who can build trust, influence positive and safe behaviours, keep a calm and steady approach when situations are challenging, and bring people with them.
What we offer
$100,000–$110,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience
18.5% superannuation, with the option to receive the additional 6.5% above the statutory guarantee as ordinary time earnings
17.5% annual leave loading
Option to purchase up to 10 additional days of annual leave, subject to approval
Three additional paid days of Christmas gratia leave
Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate
